Job Description
We are currently looking for a Business Controller to join our team in Markaryd, as our current colleague is going on maternity leave. The position is a temporary role from March 2026 to August 2027. This position is a combination of Local Financial Controller and Business Controller, a great opportunity for someone who wants a broad and developing role in an international environment.
You will work close to the business, contribute to decision-making, and drive improvements together with a passionate and collaborative team. In this role, you will have a mix of analytical work, cross-functional cooperation, and opportunities to influence our way of working.
Your key responsibilities:
Prepare monthly reporting of orders, order backlog, and spare parts sales
P&L and balance sheet reporting for the spare parts business
Conduct margin analysis by customer and by product
Manage tax and VAT reporting for two legal entities in Sweden
Follow up on accounts receivable and handle customer mailings
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Perform cost calculations for spare parts sales orders in SAP
Monitor and follow up on commission payments
Handle new customer inquiries and perform credit checks
Oversee administrative tasks related to company cars
The position is located at our office in Markaryd, Sweden, with employment through Konecranes Lifttrucks AB. You will report to Director, Finance, Lift Trucks. In this position remote work up to two days per week is possible.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, we believe you are a person who enjoys combining numbers with business insight. You are analytical, accurate, and proactive, with a hands-on attitude and a genuine interest in collaboration and continuous improvement.
We believe you have:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or economics
Experience in Finance and/or Business Controlling is a benefit, but we also welcome candidates directly from university
Good English skills, both spoken and written
Swedish skills are an advantage
Preferred IT skills: Excel, SAP, OneStream, Power BI
