About the job
You own the global logistics performance framework and agenda, ensuring that cost, service, and CO₂ objectives are translated into prioritized actions across the logistics network. Acting as a strategic and steering partner, you bring business cases, recommendations, and trade-off analyses that support informed decision-making and long-term development.
This is a horizontal, steering role. You own priorities and trade-offs, not execution: carrier selection, tendering, routing, and day-to-day transport operations sit with the transport and carrier-management function. The role has no direct reports, and its influence comes from evidence and framing rather than line authority.
Job responsibilities
Own and develop the logistics performance system, including cost, service, and CO₂ metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
Drive logistics priorities and maintain a focused portfolio of initiatives with clear sequencing and business impact.
Build and present business cases, scenarios, and recommendations related to logistics cost and sustainability improvements.
Lead governance activities such as performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive-level discussions.
Steer priorities and frame trade-offs across Transport, Finance, Planning, Procurement, and Digital, building alignment through evidence rather than authority.
Monitor logistics performance trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations and long-term roadmaps.
Own the logistics CO₂ agenda including baseline, targets, and tracking, and bring it into performance reviews and executive discussions.
Location and flexibility
The position is based in Fagersta, Västberga, or another location in Europe close to a Seco site. We offer a hybrid way of working with flexibility to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
You bring a strong background in logistics and supply chain performance, with experience working across complex distribution or logistics networks. Rather than focusing on local operations, you’re used to shaping priorities and driving improvements at a network level. A data-driven approach comes naturally, and you back recommendations with quantified insights and measurable business outcomes.
Your background includes:
Experience owning or influencing logistics performance across a regional or global logistics network, including cost, service, and sustainability metrics.
A track record of delivering measurable business results through business cases, trade-off analyses, and performance improvement initiatives.
Experience translating data and analytics into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
Proven ability to influence outcomes across multiple functions such as Transport, Finance, Planning, Procurement, and Digital teams without formal line authority.
Knowledge of sustainability and CO₂-related topics in logistics, including performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
Success comes from combining strategic thinking with the confidence to challenge assumptions using facts and evidence. You’re comfortable navigating different stakeholder perspectives, building alignment across functions, and creating momentum through influence rather than authority. About the job
You join the Operational Order Management Office and take dedicated ownership of internal suppliers — the Sandvik production units and sister brands within Sandvik Machining that Seco buys parts from. You bring structure to escalation, master-data quality and supplier performance, using disciplined ways of working in an internal supplier context. You report to the Operational Order Management Office Manager, with a dotted line to the S&OP Cross-brand Lead.
Job responsibilities
Own escalated purchase order exceptions for internal orders, including delivery, quality and invoice deviations.
Act as the single point of ownership and escalation for internal supplier issues.
Prepare, run and follow up supplier performance dialogues.
Monitor quality, delivery and cost KPIs, and lead root-cause problem solving with relevant stakeholders.
Set up new internal suppliers and maintain supplier and item master data in the ERP system.
Onboard internal suppliers to standard processes and support continuous improvement across functions.
Location and flexibility
This position is based in Fagersta, Sweden. A hybrid working setup lets you work remotely up to two days per week.
Your profile
You’re an analytical and structured problem-solver with experience from supply chain, purchasing, planning or order management. With a strong understanding of supplier performance, you know how service, working capital and cost are connected — and you’re comfortable turning that insight into action.
Your background also includes:
Several years of experience in a related position, such as operational or tactical purchasing, supply chain, planning or order management.
Good understanding of how supplier performance affects service, working capital and cost.
ERP system knowledge and experience maintaining master data; M3 experience is an advantage.
Advanced education in supply chain, procurement, industrial engineering, business administration or a related field — or equivalent experience.
Professional English, written and spoken; Swedish is beneficial for close collaboration with Swedish production units.
You build close links across a supply network and communicate clearly with different stakeholders. Organized and focused, you drive escalations to closure, stay steady in changing situations and enjoy creating better ways of working together.

As a Process Validation Specialist, you ensure that new updates, flows, and changes in configuration, routing, or system setup are thoroughly tested and validated before implementation. You focus on planning, executing, and documenting structured testing activities from a business and process perspective, making sure changes function as intended and do not disrupt existing processes.
You work with ERP M3 and Advanced Planning Systems, gain a broad business perspective and make a real difference by helping ensure stable deliveries and reliable processes
Job responsibilities
Create, execute, maintain and plan structured test cases
Support the Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Process Office by executing structured testing and validation activities related to configuration, routing, and system setup
Validate and test ERP M3 configurations with a focus on supply chain flows and routings
Perform validation and testing in the Advanced Planning System to ensure correct planning logic and outputs
Identify, document, and track inconsistencies and deviations from expected behavior
Communicate test results, risks, and readiness clearly to IT, process teams, and other stakeholders
Location and flexibility
The position is based in Fagersta with a hybrid setup, allowing you to work remotely two days per week.
Your profile
You bring a solid understanding of supply chain processes and enjoy working in roles where structure, quality, and collaboration are key. With hands‑on system experience, you’re comfortable validating complex flows and translating findings into clear documentation and communication.
Your background includes:
A university or college degree in Administration, Supply Chain Management, Process Improvement, or a related field
Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience working with ERP M3
Experience working with an Advanced Planning System; knowledge of Logility is a strong advantage

Knowledge of Power BI
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with IT, logistics, or commercial teams
Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Swedish is beneficial
