Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Power System Engineer/GMS Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Lead development activities within the Generation Management System (GMS) / Network Manager environment to support global system deliveries
Collaborate with customer GMS experts to configure applications and ensure alignment with operational requirements
Design and implement efficient workflow integrations between SCADA/EMS/GMS and other IT/OT systems using modern interface and integration technologies
Create and execute test plans with customers to validate contractual compliance and system reliability
Provide technical training to customers on EMS/GMS functions to support operational excellence
Coordinate the resolution of technical issues reported by customers in collaboration with internal teams
Guide and mentor a team of nine developers while fostering collaboration, safety, and integrity within the group
Travel as needed to customer sites across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania to support system integration and delivery
What you bring:
Master’s degree or higher in energy systems, electrical engineering, or computer science
Proven experience in SCADA/GMS systems, with solid knowledge of electric power generation and transmission networks
Strong understanding of Automatic Generation Control (AGC) principles and SCADA system fundamentals
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and FORTRAN
Experience leading or mentoring development teams in a multicultural and dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
Willingness to travel and work at customer locations as needed
Fluent English, both written and spoken; Swedish is not mandatory
Flexibility to work onsite with up to 2–3 days of remote work per week
