About the job You operate at a global level to ensure strong environmental governance and continuous improvement across our operations. The role focuses on defining global requirements and frameworks, supporting local implementation, and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation worldwide. Job responsibilities Drive consistent and high‑quality environmental performance across global operations Identify, assess, and proactively manage environmental risks and impacts Translate corporate environmental and sustainability ambitions into practical solutions Collaborate with regional and local EHS, sustainability, and operational teams, providing expert guidance and support. Location and flexibility This role offer a flexible location within Europe, close to one of our sites and preferably Sweden. We apply a hybrid set up, allowing you to combine office and remote work. Some travel is included. Your profile You bring a solid professional foundation within environmental work in a similar role, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or construction-related environments. You have extensive experience operating in a global, collaborative context, and your expertise allows you to balance legislation, business needs, and continuous improvement. Experience from Health and Safety is considered a strong merit, supporting cross-functional EHS development. Your background also includes: A university degree in environmental science, chemical engineering, sustainability, or equivalent Strong knowledge of Swedish and European environmental legislation Experience working with environmental management systems, preferably ISO 14001 Background in compliance follow‑up, audits, and dialogue with authorities Experience influencing across functions, cultures, and geographies without direct line authority Proficiency in English; Swedish is an advantage You’re self‑driven, accountable, and proactive, with a natural ability to take ownership of your area – being comfortable switching between strategic and operational perspectives. Your mission As a Solution Architect within Product Information to Customer/Master Data Management (MDM), you play a central role in defining our new MDM system. You’re part of Coromant IT and support the ongoing digital transformation of product information across the organization. Job responsibilities Define and maintain the target architecture and solution design for master data management. Ensure solutions align with business strategy and master data principles, and support scalability and high information quality. Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and external partners. Support initiatives related to PIM, PLM, DAM, MDM, ERP integrations, e‑commerce platforms, and digital customer interfaces. Perform architectural analyses, provide technical recommendations, and guide key design decisions. Bridge business and IT by translating business needs into sustainable technical solutions. Contribute hands‑on in the team’s daily work when needed. Location and flexibility The position is based in Sandviken, with a hybrid setup that allows partly remote work. Your profile You combine architectural thinking with a strong understanding of information flows and complex IT landscapes. Your experience allows you to move seamlessly between strategic and operational work. We believe you have: Experience working as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or in a similar role. Strong understanding of master data, product information, and end-to-end information flows. Experience in complex IT environments with multiple integrations. Relevant academic background in IT, systems science, engineering, or equivalent experience. You’re comfortable working in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus as it supports day‑to‑day collaboration. You’re someone who takes ownership and moves things forward. When needed, you dive deep independently, while still using the team as a sounding board.
