About the Job Join Symcel’s Sales and Marketing team as our new Marketing Specialist and contribute to the rollout of advanced instruments that support the release of life-saving treatments. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our commercial team, enhancing company and technology awareness, generating and maturing leads as well as penetrating new markets and expanding the customer base in close collaboration with Sales, Product Management and Applications. Discover more about us at: https://symcel.com Job description As a Marketing Specialist, you will drive marketing initiatives across digital channels and events —working closely with colleagues from marketing, product, application and sales teams. This role will be based at Symcel’s head office on the premises of the Karolinska Institute, with the option to work remotely 1–2 days per week. Your responsibilities will include: · Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns across channels such as social media, email and Google Ads. · Coordinating Symcel’s participation in exhibitions and conferences, including booking, logistics, and booth materials (e.g., roll-ups, stand walls, printed materials). · Overseeing day-to-day website content and updates, ensuring SEO optimization and alignment with brand guidelines. · Collaborating with web developers and designers to improve website UX and functionality. · Designing and adapting marketing materials (ads, images, videos, brochures) using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva. · Supporting the creation of content including videos, blog articles, application notes, case stories and other marketing materials. Qualifications · Academic degree in Marketing, Communication or similar. · At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in campaign management and digital marketing. · Hands-on experience managing websites through CMS platforms and understanding of SEO best practices. · Experience running social media and Google Ads campaigns. · Proficiency with marketing software and design tools (eg. Adobe creative cloud including InDesign and Photoshop, Canva and CRM systems). · Experience planning and coordinating conference participation (booking, shipments, and promotional material). · Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. · Excellent written and spoken English. Preferred qualifications (meriting but not required): · Background in marketing for life science, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), or medical devices. · Experience writing scientific or technical content (e.g., blog posts, case studies, application notes). · Experience working in international B2B marketing environments.
